20 Oct TPA obtains the NSF certification

The National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) is an independent and accredited third-party certification body that verifies and certifies products to meet precise public health and safety standards. NSF is considered the world’s largest organization in the field of verification and certification of products in food environments, with a focus on food, water, indoor air and the environment. From extensive product testing and material analyses to unannounced plant inspections, every aspect of a product’s development is thoroughly evaluated before it can earn NSF certification.
At the end of the verification cycle and after approval by the institute, the tested products can use the NSF mark in order to indicate that they have been certified and that they fully meet the standards at local, federal and international level.
The awarding of the prestigious NSF brand guarantees high safety standards, the reliability of steam generators and the effectiveness of steam as a substitute for chemical disinfectants.
The NSF P448 protocol aims to certify steam generators, their sanitizing power on surfaces and compliance with the requirements specified in Chapter 4, Section 4 of the FDA Food Code (2013).
